At the ‘Animal’ pre-release event in Hyderabad, the energy soared as Anil Kapoor extended an invitation to Mahesh Babu to join him in a dance.

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, a prominent guest at the ‘Animal’ pre-release event in Hyderabad, found himself coerced into a dance performance on stage. Anil Kapoor, donning one of the lead roles in the film, playfully urged Mahesh Babu to join him in a dance. Initially hesitant, the Telugu star resisted, but after persistent requests, he finally acquiesced. As Anil Kapoor grooved to Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dole Dole’ song, Mahesh Babu stood by, watching with a shy reluctance to join in the dance festivities.

During the event, Ranbir showed his respect to filmmaker SS Rajamouli by touching his feet upon their meeting. The director of RRR didn’t hold back in expressing his admiration, confidently declaring, “Without a doubt, my favourite actor is Ranbir Kapoor.” In a playful twist, Rajamouli threw a challenge at Ranbir, asking him to choose between working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and himself. Ranbir, with a smile, chose Vanga, adding a lighthearted touch to the interaction.

In the upcoming film Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles, Ranbir shed light on the intriguing choice of the film’s title during a recent promotional event in Chennai.

According to Ranbir, “Once you see the film, you will understand.” Expanding on the rationale, he explained, “I believe the reason Sandeep Reddy Vanga named the film Animal is because animals act on instinct. They don’t act based on thought. Similarly, the character I portray in the film reacts instinctively to protect his family. His actions are impulsive, driven by instinct, and I think that’s where the title Animal finds its resonance. Once you watch the film, you’ll grasp why this title perfectly suits the essence of the story.

The recently unveiled official trailer of Animal by the film’s team garnered an overwhelming response from fans. Clocking in at 3 minutes and 32 seconds, the trailer hinted at the transformation of Ranbir’s character, shaped by a tumultuous and abusive upbringing in his younger years.

Ranbir’s on-screen persona is portrayed as fiercely protective and obsessively devoted to his father’s affection. The character doesn’t hesitate to issue threats to anyone standing in the way of his love for his father. With a reported runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes, Animal is gearing up for a theatrical release on December 1, captivating audiences in five languages—Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
